What can you eat and what can't you? How real is the food we eat? "Shall We Eat?" is a tongue-in-cheek view on food cultures in the developed world, playing with perception/reality and the wide divide between real food for sustenance and what gets served as food on many tables. Beautifully styled and photographed non-food seduces the viewer into believing what is not. Playing games with the eyes, the installation glamorises the presentation of food and then makes it inaccessible.
